These scissors have pointed working ends with a Super-Cut finish, 1 edge is found serrated. These scissors are curved and have been developed especially for minimally invasive surgery. These scissors offer the possibility of a rotary movement. Castroviejo microsurgery scissors are ideally suited when working with magnifying glasses or a microscope.

Pivot Curved:
Castroviejo Scissors have pivot curved locks. The curved tips of the “Pivot-Curved” lock of micro scissors prevent the suture from getting caught and breaking in the instrument. The drilled pivot stabilizes the working tips and the round handle eases the rotatory motion in the hand.

Super-Cut:
The razor-sharp cutting edge cuts effortlessly and softly through thicker material. The serrated cutting edge on the second blade prevents slipping from tissue and sutures. This Super-Cut is not practical for wire, cartilage, and other hard materials. The handles are black coated to help with easier identification.
